Alligator Shoes hosta is aptly named due to its closely seersuckered leaves. This hosta is a moderately fast grower and shade tolerant. It is one of my favorite mid-sized varieties.
This hosta produces wedge-shaped frosty blue green leaves. Mature plants bear a narrow white edge and have a rough crinkly texture.
Pale lavender flowers appear mid to late summer.
